The 2013 CISA Advanced Race Clinic finished in epic style. After 3 days of boat handling, boat speed and tactics, the culmination was the CISA regatta where the 115 sailors could put what they learned to the test.
With some of the best youth sailors in attendance, Clinic Director Andrew Campbell amassed a stellar coaching staff to cover the 7 classes. Cross-class coaching gave the sailors an opportunity to learn from the best. Sally Barkow, Olympian and two time World Match Race champion lectured on applying match race moves to fleet racing to gain an advantage while US Sailing coach Leandro Spina coached and observed the next level of talent among all fleets. Harry Legum not only ran the morning fitness workout but spoke to each fleet on mental and physical preparation to apply to their sailing.
